My favourite part was the bannock and the jame. It was my favourite becuase they were both realy tasty. my least favourite part was the beaver station, becuase i have a weak stomach, and it was pretty disgusting. I learned all the process’s it takes to prepare rice, and I also learned about medicine tea. It was and amazing experience!

My favorite part of going to the Fall Harset at the Old Fort was the feather plucking because we were aloud to grab the duck/goose by the neck, and we were also aloud to pluck some of the wing. Personaly to me that was pretty cool. πŸ™‚

My least favorite part was the beaver thing because it had this odd smell and I gagged alot.

The thing that I learned and I didn’t know before was the progress of the rice “shucking”. There are so many steps to make rice. You have to gather it off a lake, (most of the time) let it sit in the sun for a day or less, pick out all the sticks and bugs that might fall in the rice while its sitting outside, cook it in a bowl thing but with no water so that the dampness in the rice would die off, boys/men have to dance on the rice so stuff off the rce would come off, (its like shucking it) then you have to seperate the shuckings from the rice, then you have to clean the rice.
    So I didn’t know that.

All in all it was very fun and I’m glad I got to go! πŸ™‚

Great entry Kadi-Rose. I really like how you made sure to include examples of why certain parts were good and others were not! πŸ˜‰

My favourite parts of the Fall Harvest were eating the jam, the bannock, and the soup. I also liked doing the whole rice process. I didn’t like the parts were when they showed us that beaver and we had to take the feathers off of the goose.

Whoa this year’s Fall Harvest is at the Fort William Historical Fort? I have been there 2 times and both times I was there,my favourite part was the bannock. It’s very delicious and tasty. My least favourite part was the animals, because there’s always this bad smell. When I was there, I learned how people lived back in the 1800s.

At the Fall Harvist i had lots of fun the best part was seeing the beaver guts because we got to touch them. But it was stinky. The part i really didnt like was when we had to find all of the stiks and stuff like that.

Can’t use i in a sentence unless it is a capital.

My favourite part was the tea and learning about what different plants they put in it. I leared that you should never over pick any plant because then nobody has plants to pick.
