Month: April 2011
Welcome to our poetry post. We have talked about poetry, we’ve read poetry, and now we are starting to write poetry.
Use this post to share some of your poetry with us.
We had some fun practicing the use of figurative language using metaphors, similes and personification in class yesterday. Today, I would like to share these. Please respond to one or as many of the prompts as you want. After your prompt, state what kind of figurative language you used. For example: “Juliet is like the sun.” (simile)
Please be kind to your teacher!!!!
How are you like a flower?
How are you like a rock?
How are you like an old shoe?
