I choose Divergent because the theme reminds me of The Giver. It reminds me of The Giver because its about somone choosing something they can never change (Jonas chooses a job they never change, ever)there is no turning back.

it also reminds me of the Hunger Games and Blood Red Road because of the romance and also action.

Micheala it doesnt matter about what the cover looks like because blood red road looked like something entirely different.

I have chosen The house of the Scorpion because it takes place in the future and people can over rule country’s and places lost like Mexico.

I think that the house of scorpions, would be a good book.A lot of people liked it.I think that even in the past,we have been reading a lot of dystopian books, and why not change it up a little? So this is why I think wesould read house of scorpians.

I choose Divergent because by the write up of the book it seemed like a good book and since we have read Blood Red Road, witch is a dystopian novel I have been getting interested in thoses kind of books. Thats why I pick Divergent

I think that we should read Divergent because I believe that The House of Scorpions is a little bit disturbing. Also, this book seems more realistic. I don’t think that a cow giving birth to a creature of some sorts is ever going to happen.

Thanks for all your votes! It looks like we will be reading another distopian novel!!! Divergent by Veronica Roth is the winner. We will start it when we come back in the new year.

Hopefully it will live up to all its hype 🙂
