    Dear Mr. Purdon,

I am recently reading Catching Fire, the second book to The Hunger games series. And I have to say, it’s gotten a whole lot harder for Katniss. If you want to know why I say that, read on and I’ll tell you.

In the first book of The Hunger games series, Katniss’s little sister, Prim, was chosen to compete in the Hunger games. The Hunger games are a competition that the districts have every year, and competitors must fight and kill each other to win. If you win, you get pulled out of the arena, and get a load of money for a reward. (Katniss is from district 12) When Katniss’s little sister was chosen, Katniss volunteered for her sister. The boy who was chosen to compete in the games was a boy called Peeta Malark, also a teen.

Katniss eventually won the Hunger games, and Peeta did too. If your wondering why he won, I can’t help you. I don’t know why he won, because there is only supposed to be one winner of the Hunger games. Anyways, I’m in part 3, chapter 12 in the book. And I’ll tell you what happened so far in the book.

Okay, so Katniss was just sitting around in her house, being lazy when her mother came in and told her that someone was there to see her. So Katniss went into her bedroom and saw President Snow, sitting there, waiting for her. Katniss had a little talk with President Snow, and he wanted her to make him believe that she was in love with Peeta Malark. She didn’t succeed. And then she was in deep trouble with the President. Then her best friend, Gale, was getting injured by a peacekeeper in the town square. He was getting whipped. I forget why, though. Then while her mom was taking care of Gale, she watched T.V. And on the T.V it said that all the victors that ever won the Hunger games were going back to the arena compete to be the ultimate victor of the Hunger games.

When Katniss got back in the arena, she teamed up with Finnick, Peeta, and Maggs.
(Maggs is a 80 year old women, and Finnick is a really strong, 20 year old man. Actually, I don’t know how old he is.) Maggs died by this weird poisonous gas. It kind of paralyzed parts of Katniss’s, Peeta’s, and Finnick’s body parts. Like their legs and arms.
Then Katniss limped over to the salt water, and it unparalizeded her. Then she undid Finnick, and then Peeta. Katniss knew one thing though, she had to keep Peeta alive.

I hope you enjoyed my letter Mr. Purdon. I hope to finish my book by the end of the month, and read the last book to The Hunger games series. Bye!

The setting is at school in Demented Ville and the zombie comes and walks around the school and then Stanley found him on the ground and his teacher finds him then he gets in trouble.

The problem is that the stuffed animal comes alive at night and makes other toys not works and when Stanley wakes up and some of his toys are broken and he doesn’t know what happened and he think that his little sister did on porpoise but she didn’t.

    Dear Mr.Purdon

I am reading Geronimo stilton cat and mouse haunted house and it is a very good book.

The characters are Geronimo, Trap, Thea, Benjamin stilton. The main character is Geronimo stilton.

I like being in gr.6 its actually not so bad after all because I get to learn new things in math, French, language, social studies, and we got a test on Friday October 26, 2012.

The seconed thing I like about gr.6 is I get to be a leader of the school and we have to teach little kids from bad-good and if little kids see us doing something bad they will start doing what we are doing.

    Dear Mr. Purdon,

I read a book called Lock Down, and it is about a twelve year old named Alex sawyer, who was framed for killing his best friend Toby and was sent to furnace penitentiary. So he made a friend named Donavon who helps him though the entire book.

Throughout the book Alex keeps getting in and out of BIG TROUBLE. No matter what the situation is trouble always seems to find Alex.

He also gets in a fight with a gang who call themselves the SKULLS. He wins, but the entire prison suffers because the shut down the canteen (lunchroom).

In the end Donovan and Alex might escape and tell the world what’s going on in the furnace.

    Your friend,

    Dear mother Earth,

Hi, my name is Bradley I agree with your point of view.

The reason I like your point because we have no other planet to live on and Earth is the only place were we cant live on because all the other planet don’t have breath able air not like Earth it has breath able air it’s the only place that has breath able air that’s how were still alive right now.

Also we are lucky to have animals because that’s how we survive we need to eat every day to survive. The animals need to eat to like plants and some eat others to like a predator eat other different kinds.

Lastly, I agree with you because people keep hurting the Earth witch is you by lots of stuff like the air, water, land, under ground, river because of the sewer, towers, cans, garbage, and lots of other stuff that’s hurting you.

    Sincerely, Bradley

Dear Mr.Purdon i am reading this book called “The House at the end of the street”

This book is really good because there was a movie made out of it and the book so far is about this girl moved into a house with her mom and these romours are going around that the house next door this little girl killed her parents with a hammer that she found in the garage.

I got this book during the summer and i thought that it would be really boring at first because nothing was really happening but now that i am half way in the book it is really good and interesting. I wanted to see the movie with my friend but i didnt get a round to it at all but books are always better then movies!

Thank you for taking the time to read my letter Mr.Purdon i really appreciate it, hope you are having fun with your new class!
