    Dear Mother Earth,

Hi I’m Adam and this is a reply to your letter.

First, I totally agree that we are not treating this planet as well as we should be treating it, and were polluting it so much we wont have our precious earth for much longer.

But, secondly, in your arguments you forget to mention something very important and that is. That we are already fighting it as much as we can with our free labor workers, who go out on their own time and try and help the earth. They replant many trees and try and stop the destruction of whole forests and they do much more to protect the earth.

Lastly, we don’t treat the world that well that is true, because many of us don’t recycle and throw recyclables in the garbage. Also when someone’s out at the beach for example they would go really far out and just bury their garbage, under the sand at the bottom of the water.

I hope you see the points in my letter.

    Sincerely,

    Adam Kraft

    Dear Mother Earth,

Hi my name is Lewis. I think your right that we should care more about the earth so we can have a home.

I think we should recycle, throw our garbage in the garbage, and not to litter. Almost everybody I know litters and I tell them to throw their garbage out.

The reason I agree with you is because, if people do litter, still make the earth polluted, and chop down trees. Animals can go extinct by all this and other people wont have any animals to eat.

Another reason I agree with you is if people don’t take care of the earth, the earth will turn all polluted and there will be no healthy or good food and water. There will be lots of acid rain and all the animals can go extinct.

    Sincerely: Lewis.

    Dear Mother Earth, Nov 14,2012

Hello, I am Thomas. Today, I would like to express my thoughts and opinions about your letter.

First, I agree with you that people aren’t treating the earth with respect. People don’t know that whenever someone pollutes or litter, it affects you. It affects you in many different ways from bad air to clogged sewers. It’s like a punch in the face of how it hurts.

Secondly, when I was reading your letter, I’m pretty sure you left our perspective or “point of view”. When I mean out I mean everybody in the world. Also, I think you left out the animal’s perspective because animals are like humans in many different ways. Not only humans can live, but animals have to live too.

Lastly, people should not litter or smoke. This is because it pollutes the world like I said earlier. Littering causes damage to sewers which can lead to clogging. Smoking will make the air bad. Also, when you litter, it can end up in the ocean at the bottom where fish live.

That is all I have to say, thanks for you reading my letter,

    Sincerely,

    Thomas.

    Dear, Mother Earth,

Hello my name is Chloe I agree with you because if we don’t help the earth we are polluting the earth and it’s not good to litter.

Secondly, we should keep the earth clean and healthy. No to chop down trees or else the animals will have no home’s and not to herm animals.

Lastly, we should not put garbage in the ocean because we are killing the animals that live in the ocean.

    Sincerely,

    chloe

    Dear Mother Earth,

Hello Mother Earth my name is Serena. I read your letter and I have to agree with you that people should stop treating you badly.

I think people should stop cutting down your forest’s, dumping in your oceans and rivers, filling your sky with pollution. It’s sad that animals are losing there habitat.

I plan to help you by using less paper, pick up litter when ever I see stuff on the ground, recycle more, and try to stop driving places and walk and bike more.

Thank you for taking the time for reading my letter.

    Sincerely,
    Serena

    Dear Mother Earth,

Hello my name is Andrew and I think you are right about to save the earth. But you left out something important; you left out what the other side is and what they have to say.

I think you are also right about to try and help the earth more but I saw some one in a big truck and when he started to move, he puffed out a big black smoke cloud, and I think that is why birds are dieing a lot.

Also I saw on the news there is lots of oil spills in the ocean and that is probably why lots of whales are becoming extinct.
Also why is it that if you are the earth how do you climb?
Also why did you write us a letter?

Lastly how do we get every one to stop hurting the forests, ocean, and sky?

    Sincerely, Andrew

Dear Mother Earth, Thursday Nov 15, 2012

Hi my name is Alexis, I’m from Thunder Bay Ontario and I agree with you. We need to take better care of you so that you can stay healthy.

I think that we need to not cut down as many trees so that we don’t waste time and money on equipment on tools to cut down trees. I also think that after we cut down a tree that we need to plant another one. I also think that we need to take the bus to work so we don’t pollute the air. I also think that we need to recycle more.

Secondly, I think that we should compost pile so that we don’t have as much garbage. I also think that we should plant a garden so that we have fresh fruit and veggies.

Lastly, I think that we should play outside instead of playing video games because then we won’t waste electricity.

    Sincerely, Alexis

    Dear Mother Earth,

Hello my name is Austin.d. I mostly agree with what your saying, but you’re forgetting that people are cleaning up the earth right now!!

Yeah we messed up but it’s not too late to fix things, if the human species has a little time the earth should be good as new.

All it will take is some hard work and a little luck, the earth will have no worries once or ever.

Thank you for taking the time to read my letter.
    Yours truly,
    Anstin.

    Dear Mother Earth,

Hello my name is Yolanda and I think you are right about saving the earth and yes it is bad that people are hurting the planet and you also are hurting the planet too and I will tell you how you hurt the earth.

First, in different places of the world it is snowing, it is raining, and there are tornados and that is because of you so you are also the one who is hurting the planet too.

Lastly , yeah people litter and not recycle you do the worst things of all you make it snow, rain, so you are the one who is hurting the earth more than us.

    Sincerely Yolanda

    Dear Mother Earth,

Hello my name is Kendra. I read you letter and I kind of agree with you.

I kind of agree with you because the world would be weird with out animals. No pets. The wild life need to be free. If there was no oxygen the animals would get sick and die.

Also, I know that there are a lot of disasters in the world and that’s kind of how you hurt the earth too, like tornados, hurricanes, hail, cracked roads on the highways and floods destroying homes.

Lastly, I wish you made the world a better place like no littering, no beer bottles, drugs and no fighting.

    Sincerely,

    Kendra

    Dear Mother Earth,

    Hi, my name is Ethan

I agree that your right but the nature and the land will be gone and then once the forest is gone, the animals will have no place to live then where would the animals go when there homes are gone.

First of all, when the forest is gone, the animals will have to go somewhere else in the world to find a new home because the forest is gone and the might die because someone might go hunting and find that animal.

Second of all, the livestock will be gone then we will lose our food and become hungry because the animals will go to find a new home.

Third of all, the animals will get mad and attack because we, the humans, destroyed their homes.

    Sincerely

    Ethan

    Dear Mother Earth,

Hi Mother Earth. My name is Donte. I have read your letter, and I agree with you. With what you said.

I try to save you by feeding animals, recycle as much as I can, and planting trees. I didn’t recycle for a few years, till I realized that you are important to us. We need to stop polluting so we don’t kill are selves and all the animals. You said “animals are brothers and sisters.”

Next, sometimes we need to hurt you to survive. With things, like killing animals for food. But we don’t have to cut down lots and lots trees. We have the teck to make other ways of writing, and getting from and to places.

Lastly, we need to balance what we get from you like cutting down trees, and killing animals. When we cut trees down we could plant new trees. We could also use less electricity. So there is less pollute is in the air.

Thank you for reading my letter! I hope you agree with me.

    Sincerely,

    Donte

    Dear Mother Earth

Hello my name is Austin B, I think you’re right about people throwing stuff on the grown and people and the forest if they cut the forest down then the animals will have no were to hide.

So I think your right Mother Earth, we got to tell people to stop throwing garbage on the grown where are the ducks going to swim, that’s when people throw stuff into the pond.

So we have to our city clean, people can’t throw stuff into the lakes where are the ducks going to swim or geese please keep the city clean

    Dear Mother Earth,

My name is William if it’s your land why don’t you sabotage them by blocking the road’s to their constructions or ask the Bears to make the workers run away.

I’m so sorry that people don’t know that Mother Earth is our home but people are stupid. People don’t know better but some of their resources we need like homes and cloths.

Mother Earth why can’t you just stop the people who do these they may cut down trees yeah I know but you always act like your guy or girl who has the powers.

You say that your so small well how can we live on you if your as small as us but still I’m with we need stop polluting and cutting down trees down before we all parish.

These are why I think we should stop doing these horrible
    stuff.

    Sincerely,

    William
