I think that year round schooling is good because of these three reasons:

Firstly, You learn more than traditional school because you can good grades for a better future and a great job because when you learn, you can take exams or test that you need to learn to pass so you can graduate and start your new job with more knowledge that some people need to know.

Secondly, I think that year round schooling because you can still get separate breaks throughout the years of year round schooling and still remember what you know before you forget all the stuff that you need to know to be smarter.

Next, I think we should go to year round schooling because in the summer you get bored and that’s no fun, so at year round schooling allows you to see your friends more often so you can have something to do rather than staying home and doing nothing for the next two months.

Lastly, the last reason I think that year round schooling is a good idea because when you are in year round schooling, you have less time to spend on vacation which means that you pay less money going toward your vacation so you don’t have to spend the much money so you and your parents are happy.

All these are reasons why people should go to year round schooling.

Many people argue about year-round school. Here is my opinion on this.
I think year-round schooling is a good idea because you can learn more and become smarter in a shorter amount of time. If you do your homework every day after school, chances are you will be ready for the next grade up in about half a year.
The next reason for why year-round school is better is teachers can spend less time reviewing. Basically if students are getting good grades in school, they will be so good that teachers don’t have to review them.
My third reason is more breaks throughout the year. If school was on a holiday, for example Christmas, after school you can still spend time with your family and celebrate. You would still get your holidays off.
My final reason is you can still see your friends after school. It’s just like with holidays above. Friends will still be able to see friends.
In my opinion, Year-round schooling is a good idea.

    Year-Round School
Year-round schooling is trying to be decided which to happen or not to happen and here are some reasons why year-round schooling should happen and I think it should happen here’s the reasons why.
You get to see your friends more often. Summer break could get a bit boring without seeing your friends over a 2 month break and in school you would see them every day and if you have year-round you would still see your friends over the break because you would be in school.
Increases chance of good grades. If you go to year-round school you will remember much more than before when you’re in traditional 2 months because over the 2 months students lose 60% of the stuff they learned the year before and with year round school you wouldn’t lose all the things you learned.
Vacation Prices are cheaper. If you are going on a vacation in summer and the prices are really high then you could take a vacation when then the prices are lower and you could just take it off of your summer vacation of those 2 months
Teachers will spend less time reviewing. Teachers could spend less time reviewing by the students still remembering what they did last year by having school in the summer and students not losing memory of what they did the year before.
You get more breaks thought the year. You will get more breaks through the year while you don’t have to take summer break off that much you can just take your break off your summer vacation.

I think we should go school year-round because we get to see friends and family more, example: I barely get to see my dad’s part of the family and my brothers and sisters and my best friend joseph.

We also get more time to study and learn about music and different languages.

Vacation, We get vacation take example from kids perspective kids sometimes like school but not the kids who play video games all day and teachers will probably learn a thing or two from kids and the 21st century.

Yes I think we should have year round schooling because year round schooling means you get to see your friends more but in summer you don’t get to see your friends almost at all.

The next reason i am for year round schooling is that vacation prices are cheaper and almost $1,000 off on the prices for vacations.Another reason is that we learn more and retain more of what we learn which means our grades are going to be better-smarter overall.

The last reason is that teachers will spend less time reviewing the last years curriculum and more time teaching the new years curriculum.

You get 2 month off You see your family

No air conditioning in Because it get’s hot in the school
    Summer in the school

You get to go on trips Because trip’s are fun

Your mom and dad are Because they are use to it

Many are arguing about whether year-round school is good or bad. At first, I thought that year-round school was a bad thing, but then I realized that it is actually better and has a better chance at improving education.
My first reason why year-round school is a good thing is because we still get our regular holiday breaks and weekends throughout the year. So we still get little breaks, but it’s just taking 5 weeks off our summer vacation.
My second reason is that we just basically learn more. See, when students are on their summer vacation enjoying themselves, they forget more than half of what they’ve learned so far. So, if we only get 3 weeks of summer vacation, we don’t forget that much of what we’ve learned. And that equals… better grades.
My third reason is that when we are on our summer vacation, we sort of miss seeing our friends. Now honestly, when I’m away from school, I sort of miss seeing my friends. So, 3 weeks helps that.
And lastly, if we stay the way we are right now, we still get 2 months of summer vacation. But, in those two months, we might be somewhere else like in Hawaii, enjoying it. But, that can be costly. I mean, half of those two months we’ll be sitting at home bored. So three weeks is perfect!
Year-round school MAY get boring, but we’ll be better educated.

I think that we should not go to year round school. Here are my arguments against year-round schooling.
First of all, you spend less time with your family. If family comes over from a different country, or province, then you would spend less time hanging out with them and more on math and history.

Secondly, parents are used to traditional school. if you and your family were planning a vacation you would have a short vacation because of school.

Third, high school students and university students need the time to work. When your in high school you need to get a job to make money, also you need the time to study and work for your next semester.

lastly, there is the air conditioning problem. In Canada, we have a heating system built for schools throughout winter. We do not have air conditioning for summer. If we went to school in the summer, everyone would be miserable.

And those are arguments against year-round schooling.

    Year-round Schooling
In my opinion, year-round schooling is a brilliant idea. Today, I will give you a few reasons why I believe this. My first reason is that year-round schooling will dramatically improve the education of students all over the world. If you go to year-round schooling, your summer will be long, but not too long, so everything that you learn will stick with you. You’ll remember what you’ve learned. So teachers will spend less time on reviews, and get more time teaching. You’ll get to learn more and more every year. The time that you used to spend on reviews will turn into time that allows you to learn more. That spent time on review will slowly add up to extra years of education that you couldn’t get in ten-month schooling. Plus, the extra knowledge and education that you would have in year-round schooling would allow you to get a better job, more money, and a better life.
Over the summer break, kids rarely get to see their friends. It gets hard for them sometimes. Without your friends, things get kind of boring. In year-round schooling, you won’t have to worry about the dreadful hours of missing your friends. You will have the perfect amount of time for a break, and then you can go right back to seeing your friends. In the summer, I miss my friends a lot because I can’t contact them. In year-round schooling, you don’t have to worry about that. It’s the perfect solution to getting your vacation and not having to miss your friends.
In year-round schooling, taking a vacation is a lot cheaper. The reasoning for this is because flights are always expensive on ten-month schooling vacations because that’s the best time to travel. So the prices go up. If you were in year-round schooling, prices would be cheaper by about $1000 because not many people travel while they have to work. So in year-round schooling, you can go to really cool places.
Have you ever noticed how overcrowded schools are? Well, in year-round schooling, 1/3 of the kids are not at school because of rotated vacations. This is called “Multiple-track education.” Multiple-track education will solve the problem of overcrowded schools. If we’re lucky, the reduction of students will potentially reduce the amount of bullying in schools. With Multiple-track education, you don’t have to worry about crowded buses, fighting your way through crowds in the hall, or waiting for a drink at the water fountain. The plan is flawless.
These are just a few of the many reasons that year-round schooling is a good thing.

    Year-round schooling

I think year-round schooling is a great idea because they get better education. 60 percent of students forget what they’ve learnt, and then it’s just like starting over again.
Firstly, you get to see your friends. It gets boring over the summer when you have nothing or no one to play with.
Secondly, you can get more breaks throughout the year. It’s better to split up the summer break throughout the year instead of two months straight.
Thirdly, the vacation prices are cheaper. When you go on a vacation like, on March break it costs more, but during the year-round schooling it costs less.
Lastly, teachers spend less review time. Teachers spend less time reviewing because students have more breaks throughout the year.

I think year –round schooling is a good idea because there are more breaks throughout the year. Cuz instead of one big break we get more breaks throughout the year.
We also learn more and forget less. If there was year-round schooling students will forget less.
Most importantly you get to see your friends!!! everyone wants to see their friends you have to see your friends to live an awesome life.
Teachers spend less time reviewing. Now teachers wont lose their marbles.
Lastly vacation prices cheaper . EVERYONE HATES SPENDING MONEY.

    Year Round Schooling
For hundreds of years, schools have followed the same 10 months of school plan, but many people suggest that instead of 10 months of school and summer break, that we should do year round schooling. There are several reasons why I believe year round schooling is a good, if not better idea. Here are some reasons why.
First of all, statistics show that over summer vacation, students can lose between 50 and 60% of what they learned through out the year. However, if schools were to follow year round schooling, with short breaks through out the year instead of one, big, long two month break, it would be easier to remember what they learned, therefore keeping their grades up, and making them overall smarter.
Another reason year round schooling is a good idea is that teachers wouldn’t have to do as much reviewing on the curriculum. As I mentioned, students lose so much of what they learned in the school year over summer vacation, leaving teachers having to keep reviewing the curriculum. However, if year round schooling took place, teachers wouldn’t have to review the curriculum because the students wouldn’t have lost the memory of what the learned over short breaks.
Thirdly, travelling prices would be much cheaper as opposed to say March break. The reason this is, is because March break is one of the few breaks you get in the school year, and everyone wants to travel during these breaks that we get off, making the prices go up. However if we were to travel during say a week break in February, it would be short of 1000 dollars to go considering that not everyone gets it off.
Lastly, students would get more chances to see friends. Some kids may not get the opportunity to connect with friends over the summer break and may call it “boring” of “no fun” because they may not be able to see friends over the break, so if there were just breaks in different parts of the year, it would give students more of a chance to stay connected with kids from school.
Therefore, year round schooling would be a better idea than the regular 10 month schooling we do now.

    Year-Round Schooling
Many people believe that year-round school is a bad idea. I, however, think that year-round school should be tried! Now some of you may be thinking, “Why? We want to enjoy our summers!” Well here is why school should be year-round.
First off, we will learn more and retain more of what we learn throughout the year. Our grades will more than likely go up! Think about it. If you have 12 months of school, you will learn two full months more knowledge than you would with a ten month school system. By learning more, we will be smarter overall, and we will have a better chance at getting good jobs when we’re older.
Also, you can see your friends way more often. Admit it, summer can be boring and you can feel like you having nothing to do because all of your friends are camping, fishing, travelling, at the beach, or spending time with their families. If there is year-round school, you will get to see your friends more than you would on a two month summer break.
Do you and your family love to travel? When I was younger, my mom absolutely loved travelling and wanted to travel to warm places all of the time, but since I was in school, we could only go on holiday breaks. The vacations were so pricey that we could only go on two vacations, both to the Caribbean. With year-round school, there will be breaks throughout the year, that aren’t on holidays, letting you and your family soak up the sun for way cheaper, without having to worry about getting schoolwork done.
On the line of breaks, there will be many breaks with year-round school. Instead of just one big two month break, as I was saying earlier can get quite boring, why not have multiple breaks? It will seem that you are having more time off school, but in reality you are having the exact same amount of time off as you would have with ten month school! I would way rather have randomly three weeks off in February than 2 boring months off in the summer. Yes, I know, everyone likes to spend summer at the beach or camping, spending time with your family, or relax and catch some sun, but you can still enjoy summer in the break that you would probably get in the summer months with year round schooling.
Finally, teachers work hard all year preparing you for next year’s challenges and filling your brain with useful knowledge, only for you to lose an average 60% of what you learned over your two months off. Yes, a whole entire 60% percent. That’s more than half of what you learned! If we have year round school, that will not happen anymore, and we can continue on with the present year’s curriculum without having to take a good three weeks in September to review the previous year’s academics.
I hope you changed your mind around about year-round schooling, and that these arguments have convinced you that year-round school may not be so bad after all!

    Year- round school
I think year- round schooling is a good thing because we get more breaks thought out the year I think it’s a good idea because we have more to look forward to like if we have a three weeks off of school we can go on vacation with our families.
Another reason I think we should have year- round schooling is that teachers can spend less time reviewing things I think that because if teachers have less time to review things they can teach us more stuff.
The third reason why I think year-round schooling is a good thing is we can learn more about different things and our grades will get better because we have year-round schooling and more time to learn about other things we never knew before.
The last reason is the vacation prices are cheaper so if we have a long weekend or a week off we can go somewhere nice with their families in the winter.
This is why I think we should have year-round schooling

I think year round school isn’t fun. You do not get to go to Hawaii because you have to stay in school the whole time and you don’t get to go fishing with your family.
Secondly, there is no air conditioning in the school. Without it, the students would be really hot in the summer.
Thirdly, you see your friends during year round school and I only like to see them once in a while. I get headaches.
Lastly, you don’t get to go to camp because you’re stuck in school. You don’t get to go fishing or catch cool things.

I think year round schooling is a good idea because the kids get to see their friends more often. Here’s an example, so say that you and your children live in the city, but he/she’s friends live in the suburbs, and maybe the suburbs are a couple kilometres out of town, so he/she might not get to see their friended over the summer holiday’s, whereas year round schooling splits up all the holidays ( not including the weekends) into parts which means that your child/children get to see their friends more.My next reason that I agree with year round schooling is because the kids get more breaks throughout the year.

Is year round school a good thing?
Year round school is good because you get more time to work for your grades and more time to go up north for a little.
And my reason for year round school because you get time to think all about your grades and for two weeks and for your teachers can relax intel school come’s back up.
Year round school is a great idea because it’s a two week off two week off is a good thing but not two full months off you will lose 60 % work you done.

I think year-round school is a bad thing because, one thing is that teens don’t have time to work because thy like to work all summer.

My Second reason is that parents are used to the 2 month and it is the best time for vacations.

Third is that no one wants to have vacation in February because its too cold for a vacation.

Last thing is that you get more sleep to be more refreshed. And energetic for the day

Firstly you get more breaks throughout the school year witch is Christmas break, March break and PD days. More to look forward to.
Secondly you get to see you friends more at school more than the summer. Because your at school to see them.
Thirdly you learn more to retain more of what we learn. If we have a full year of school you will get smarter.
Fourthly teachers will spend less time reviewing to there class. Your teacher won’t review too much.
Do you think we should go to school for a full year?

    Year-Round Schooling
Many people believe that year-round school is an amazing idea for children so they are exposed to more knowledge, and some people think it’s not the greatest idea because kids want to have some time off of school to spend with family or to just have their personal time. I am a child who’s in a ten month school system and I love the summer breaks, but usually after summer break, my head isn’t in the right place, I forget what I learned in the previous year, and it’s a lot of stress! I then was introduced to Year-Round Schooling in Daily Edit and it completely changed my point of view of the ten month schooling system. Now I would like if year-round schooling was introduced to schools!
First off, Year-Round Schooling splits the two months of summer into separate groups throughout the year. Children, including people in high school and college or university, would have more to look forward to because having breaks scattered around the whole year (as well as holiday breaks) will give them the illusion of less school and more breaks!
Secondly, this is for the teachers who work hard, the teachers use less of their time reviewing the previous year’s curriculum; they would be able to review the previous year’s curriculum during the year at different parts of the year. Here’s an example; usually at the beginning of the ten month system year, teachers focus on doing math from the previous year and working their way up to more advanced math throughout the year. What’s the use of doing that when you can have a whole year that leads into another year and focus on doing more advanced math? Ten month systems waste time reviewing what happened last year instead of focusing on what they should know than focusing on what they already know.
Do you enjoy seeing your friends? With the Year-Round Schooling system, you’ll be able to see your friends more often which will give you more entertainment throughout the year. Friends are the ones you have amazing memories with, and usually people bond at school which creates more entertainment and more amazing memories for when you’re older, by using the Year-Round Schooling system, it will provide you with more entertainments then being board and not being able to contact your friends during two months.
Finally, it will increase in students’ retention of knowledge. Being able to have longer education with occasional breaks will improve on the students’ education. Generally, most students forget what they’ve learned the previous year and a lot of stress builds up on them, the Year-Round Schooling system prevents that from happening because it’s year-round schooling.
I understand that people are scared to change because it’s a new thing, but sometimes change can be a wonderful thing. I am for Year-Round Schooling, some people think it isn’t a good idea and may disagree, that’s their opinion and this is mine.
